When the groom proposes with a cake…
Michael used a cake to pop the question, so naturally, Abby thought to bring a cake to their engagement session! (I like how this girl thinks!)
I first met Abby from both of us working in the wedding world. So, I was honored that she came to me when it was her turn to be a bride!
These two were real troopers. You cannot tell from the photos, but this was a dreaery, rainy evening. The light was leaving fast, but we had just enough time to create art! It started coming down a little hard and we stayed under the trees until it evenually stopped.
But we just shot through it!
It was a joy to check out their wedding venue. These were taken at The Event on Sunnybrook in Kent, OH. A fairly new venue, this gem in the middle of a more rural area is a stunning surprise to drive up to!
