We’re still swooning over Maddie and Peter’s overcast, September, wedding at Westwood Country Club in Rocky River, Ohio. Some people might be concerned if it's cloudy on their wedding day, however, as a photographer, I love it! It gives us so much freedom when there's no harsh sun. And, these cool tones really made Maddie's blue and white wedding colors pop.

Getting ready was a relaxing morning, which only two close bridesmaids and mom. Keeping things small and intimate helps keep focus on what the day is about and ensures many special moments with surrounding loved ones.
The bride and groom opted for a first look so they could share a special moments alone and read letters to each other. This was so special because they were able to be with each other all day long.
Along with Maddie’s blue and white wedding colors, were the blue and white reception decor details, including hints of Chinese designs, a nod to her birth country and home before she was adopted by her American parents.
